Acoustic Control Corp Solid State Acoustic Amp Combo

Acoustic Control Corp Solid State Acoustic Amp Combo

Very rare and hard to find this is an acoustic control corp model 111 aka g60-212. The write pus on this unit are amazing. I have included links form there web site. All the old timer rock & rollers used these from santana and led zepplin to name a few it was made in 1981 and the company is no longer in business and has not been for a long time.
Hree are some of the write up's about this unit. This is the bigger brother to the g60 112 and has 2 12? Speakers instead and an independent eq for each channel, which everybdoy seems to want for the 112 version. 2 independent channels, vol 1 (clean) and vol 2 (dirty). Unlike most other acoustic amps this one has brown tolex covering that looks like something straight out of the 60s. Volume, treble, mids, adn bass knobs on the clean channel. Drive, volume, bass, mids and treble knobs on dirty channel. On the rear panel are ext. Speaker out, vol (for channel switching footswitch), preamp out, and reverb jacks (not 100% sure what the reverb jack is but it seems to turn the reverb on and off). For a solid state amp, it? To me a tueb amp is absolutely better though.
T have the rich sparkling tone like a tube amp but it si very clean, very clear. Teh dirty channel produces more of an overdrive?

Like a boss od2 pedal but smoother. It can go from gravely grunge to over-fuzzed late-fusion fuzz? It definitely has some sweetspots.

The amp on its own is absolutely no good for metal. S great for rokc and grunge, but for dimebag no way. A boss ds1 in front of teh amp through the clean channel works. S very loud and ni my band which is like a cross between nirvana and velvet revolver with 2 guitars, bass and drums it cuts like an emo with 2 razors in a mosh pit!

The reverb works well too. Typical of amps of the 80? S it can be turned right up to being overbearing like playing inside a concrete box. The first pictuer is not of my amp but one online exactly the same, the only difference is mine no longer has the handles on top. The fourth picture is of all of the different dials.
